The 3rd annual Cadence Festival is here.
On the 14th and 15th of June in Tyldesley, across four brilliant locations and two days we bring to you some of the best talent in live music and comedy for miles around.
Our main stage in Market Square plays host to our headline act, The Lottery Winners. A hugely popular local band formed in Leigh in 2008 who have supported the likes of The Charlatans, The Futureheads and The Enemy and have played live at the O2 arena.
This year our main stage area is also covered, so we'll be well protected from the elements.
The all new Cadence Café C.I.C on Chapel Street will host the second stage, where our headline act Leigh's very own David Julien will perform alongside his special guests. Following a spectacular appearance on The Voice UK, David Julien has had a busy few months; both recording and having been asked to sing and co-write on a number of album and dance tracks and playing live around the country, particularly in London at venues such as the Hippodrome supporting Dionne Warwick and also Rick Parfit jnr.
Our two partner locations also on Elliot street have a large variety of acts to cater for even the more eclectic tastes.
The Queens hosts the Comedy Stage from 2pm with live bands in the evening including Ruby Tuesday and Joint Pop.
The Half Moon, offers live music from the Swinging Sixties right through to the moving power ballads of the Eighties.
Whatever your ears prefer, Cadence Festival offers a unique festival experience with an abundance of class local bands, easily accessible stages and refreshments and a unrivalled atmosphere.
We hope to welcome you to Cadence Festival this year.
